Flat Earth Claim Audits
Modern Flat-Earth Claims and Measurement Audits
Horizon, water-level, motion, Antarctica, and observation claims as atomic audit records.
Source-SpecificModern flat-earth sources often argue from horizon appearance, water level, lack of felt motion, luminary paths, and Antarctica boundary claims. Decode Reality converts these into atomic Truth Audit records so each claim can be examined separately. A claim may be clearly stated by a source while still requiring measurement review, alternative explanations, and contradiction tracking.
The flat-earth argument corpus includes Rowbotham's Zetetic Astronomy (1865), later compilations, and modern digital-era polemics. Common argument types include: the horizon appears flat; water finds its level; no felt motion is detected; luminary paths appear local rather than distant; and Antarctica is treated as a boundary rather than a continent.
Decode Reality treats each of these as an atomic claim. Each claim gets its own Truth Audit record with source confidence (how clearly the source states it), reality confidence (how strongly it is supported as fact), alternative explanations, and contradiction tracking. Repetition of the same argument across multiple flat-earth books does not create independent confirmation — it is the same claim repeated.

Uncertainty Note
The portal separates source confidence from reality confidence. A claim can be source-supported and still unresolved.
